Ji Hoon Kim
JiHoon is a co-Representative of K2 Investment. He cofounded K2 Investment. Prior to K2, JiHoon was Head of Venture Investment Division at SBI Investment (formerly, KTIC) where he cultivated his extensive network in private equity market and managed major portfolios including Partron, SOLiD, TLi, and MNtech. His work experience includes Cadence Korea and HP Korea. JiHoon received BS in Control and Instrumental Engineering from Seoul National University.
Bong Su Kim
BongSu is a co-Representative of K2 Investment and a member of the Investment Committee. He cofounded K2 Investment and is responsible for the entire fund managing process. BongSu’s main investment focus includes hardware, software, medical devices, and communication equipment. Prior to K2 Investment, BongSu was a Senior Investment Officer at SBI Investment (formerly, KTIC) for five years and invested in numerous successful portfolios. He also worked at two other venture capital firms as an Investment Officer and at LG Electronics as an Engineer. Brian received BS and MS in Electronics Engineering from Seoul National University.
Sang Woo Kim
SangWoo is the CIO of K2 Investment and a member of the Investment Committee. He focuses on identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in healthcare and medical device industries. SangWoo’s main portfolios include Caregen, Eubiologics, and I3system. Prior to joining K2 Investment, he was a venture capitalist at SBI Investment (formerly, KTIC). SangWoo received BS and MS in Genetic Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University.
Hyuck Ryul Kwon
HyuckRyul is a Senior Director of K2 Investment and a member of the Investment Committee. His main investment sectors are software, internet services, and IT. HyuckRyul’s main portfolios include CLO Virtual Fashion, Maluuba, Dawonsys, Docusign and Iones. Prior to joining K2 Investment, he worked as a venture capitalist for 8 years at Samsung Ventures, Timewise Investment, and KDB Capital. HyuckRyul earned his BS in Chemical Engineering from Seoul National University, and MBA from KAIST.
Hye Won Kim
HyeWon is a Director of K2 Investment and a member of the Investment Committee. She is focused on IT, software, and mobile services with investment portfolios including Flitto, Krafton, and Brandi. She began her private equity career as a fund administrator at JAFCO Investment Korea, where she later became an investment manager. HyeWon received BA in Business Administration from Yonsei University.
Kang Sik Jung
Kangsik is a Director of K2 Investment. His main investment sectors are biotechnology, healthcare, and life science. KangSik’s investment portfolios include MedPacto, Aptamer Sciences, ATEMs, and G Enone Energy. Prior to joining K2 Investment, he worked as a venture capitalist for 3 years at BSK Investment after building his professional career at Roche Korea, Eli Lilly & Co., and LG Household & Healthcare. Kangsik holds BS and MS in Pharmacy from Kyunghee University.
Yun Jong Oh
YunJong is a Senior Investment Manager of K2 Investment. He invests in diverse sectors including internet/mobile services, IT, and consumer goods. Within these targeted sectors, Yunjong built his portfolios including Bunjang(Bungaejangter), The Nature Holdings, Teamfresh, Mustit, Buzzvil and Chai Corporation. He began his career at KT, worked as a business analyst at Accenture, then commenced his VC career at POSCO Capital.Yunjong received BA in Business Administration from Korea University.

Seung Ok Bang
SeungOk is a Director of K2 Investment. Her role as a management professional involves providing extensive operational, financial, and administrational knowledge to K2 Investment and our funds. Before joining K2 Investment, SeungOk was responsible for fund operations at K-net Investment Partners and SBI Investment (formerly, KTIC). She was also responsible for corporate accounting at Insung Accounting Firm. SeungOk received BS in Industrial Engineering from Kyunggi University.
Hee Won Yoo
HeeWon is an Assistant Manager of K2 Investment. Prior to joining K2. HeeWon worked at Mesh Korea as a logistics operator of Gangnam and Seocho area. HeeWon received BA in International Trade, Business Administration from Dongguk University.
